27 Weeks

I made it to the third trimester!  Woohoo!  Baby is as big as a rutabaga this week.  Honestly, I think my rutabaga is smaller than the head of lettuce I had last week!  LOL!  I'm also not sure what to do with it now, I have no clue what to use a rutabaga for.  So the Prilosec is definitely helping a lot!  I haven't had to take any tums since I started taking it last Thursday morning, and I feel great not having that stupid reflux!  This Saturday we are going to have a 4D sonogram done.  I am so excited to be able to see our baby again and in so much detail!

So as I said last week I had my glucose screening test, and I failed it by 2 points!  So now, I have to go in tomorrow to take the 3 hour test.  Urg!  I have to be there at 7:45am after fasting for 12 hours so they can draw my blood.  Then I have to drink that super sugary drink, think about kool-aid with at least twice the amount of sugar, and they draw my blood after 1, 2, & 3 hours.  Its not going to be fun at all, and I am probably going to be starving by the time I am done!

Well I dropped off the paperwork and deposit for Mikey's preschool next year.  He is very excited to go, and I know he is going to love it!  I just can't believe how big my little boy is getting!  Where has the time gone?

We had a nice time visiting my Nana and Papa in Salina this last weekend.  Mikey and I rode down with my parents and picked up my brother in Manhattan.  John was already there because he was working at a bank in Salina for the weekend, which is why we went down in the first place.  It was an interesting drive on the way home on Sunday because of all of the storms.  We basically drove through all of them, then when we got home the ones we drove through came here.  LOL!

We got our AC fixed yesterday.  It was low on freon again, so he had to refill it.  We have a small leak somewhere, but it is the original AC/Heater to the house, so at least it still works!  I'm sure we are going to have to replace it sometime in the next couple of years.  Right now we don't even have it on since its going to be in the 70's all week, and I love the fresh air!

On the other hand, our big freezer in our garage isn't doing so hot, oh wait, it is too hot and not cold enough...lol!  We need to get a new one before it completely stops working and all of our meat and everything else spoils!  It started doing the same thing at the end of last summer, but once winter hit and it cooled down it was able to stay pretty cold.  But its definitely time for a new one now!

I hope everyone has a great rest of the week and weekend!  Pray for my glucose test results to come back negative tomorrow!
