24 Weeks - It's V-Day!

This week was a big milestone in my pregnancy!  Last Thursday, was "V-Day" (viability day), which means if the baby were to be born any day from here on out, he has a much better chance of survival!  The survival rate is 40-70% this week, and goes up to 50-80% next week (tomorrow), and at week 26 goes up to 80-90%, and after that it just keeps going up!  But I would just rather have baby stay in a bit longer, at least 14 more weeks!  LOL!

Anyways, baby is as big as an ear of corn this week.  Actually as long as, baby isn't that long and skinny!  LOL!  The other comparison is a cantaloupe, but I prematurely used that comparison a couple of weeks ago, so i didn't want to take another picture with a cantaloupe.  The baby sure has been kicking/moving up a storm lately!  It seems like he is moving every time I sit down, I'm not sure when he sleeps!  LOL!  We still are no closer to picking a name, its so hard!  I wish it was as easy as picking Mikey's name!  LOL!

We signed Mikey up for swimming lessons that start on Monday and is once a week for 6 weeks!  I am so excited to see how he likes them!  Then in June he is going to play Bitty Baseball which is 4 weeks, but 2 times a week!  So I hope he will have fun!

Last Saturday I went to get a long overdue pedicure and manicure!  It had been over a year since I had had one!  It felt wonderful!  :-)

This last Monday John was off of work, so we took Mikey to the zoo.  He loved having his daddy there!  I think he maybe rode in the stroller for 10 minutes total.  He was either walking or was riding on daddy's shoulders.  Mikey of course fell asleep on the way home because he was so exhausted!

Yesterday it was about 85 degrees outside and we gave Beau a bath.  Mikey helped daddy give him a bath and then had his turn being sprayed with the hose!  We have a small Little Tikes slide and John was spraying it with the hose to create a water slide.  Mikey loved it and didn't want to stop for dinner!  It is 80 again today, and can you believe we are supposed to have a snowstorm tomorrow night?  In May!  It's only supposed to be 39 degrees tomorrow.  :-(  I thought we were finally going to get warm weather to stay, but I guess I was wrong!

I hope you all have a great rest of the week!
