34 Weeks

Baby is as big as a butternut squash this week!  As time ticks by, I can't believe how close I am to holding my new little man in my arms!

Last Thursday was Independence Day!  We went with my parents to a parade and fireworks in Stillwell.  Mikey got a ton of candy at the parade!  The fireworks were by my dads work, so while we were waiting, he took Mikey in to see the big truck that he drives!  He really liked that!  We weren't sure how Mikey was going to like the fireworks because this was his first time going to them.  He loved them!  He wore a pair of noise canceling headphones so it wasn't to loud!

Over the weekend Mikey and I stayed at my parents house so John could paint Mikey's room and the baby's room.  That's why the background color in my picture is different than before.  That is Mikey's room.  He's going to have a Car's themed room to go with his car bed.  We still have to put up the checkered flag border (that's why the paint line isn't even), and some Car's wall decals.

The baby's room is almost finished.  The painting is done, now I just have to get stuff put away.  We went shopping on Monday evening to get the necessities that we needed, like binkies, bottles, pumping accessories (I already have the pump), and some misc items.

Monday is our 6 year anniversary!  Its hard to believe its been that long!  So Mikey is going to have a sleepover with grandma and grandpa on Saturday while John and I have an evening out to celebrate!

Well, I have to get ready to go to the doctor, so I am going to have to cut this short.  So I hope everyone has a great rest of the week and weekend!
