Last night we had a second snow storm in a week! Everyone was saying that this storm was going to be even worse than the last one and resulting 12-16 inches, calling it "The Blizzard of Oz 2.0", "Toto's Revenge", and "Snowmageden" are just a few of the names I heard. It turned out to be not as bad. We probably would of ended up with more snow if it was just a bit colder outside because it actually took it a while to stick. But, John had off again today and he and Mikey had fun playing in the snow again! They built a snowman (it was mostly John doing the building). and John pushed him on a trash can lit (a makeshift sled) down the small incline in front of our house.
Anyways we were able to make it to MOPS on Monday before the storm started. Last night I had to volunteer at the Just Between Friends consignment sale. I got home before the roads got bad, they were just wet and slushy. Today I had to volunteer again, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to make it today, but since the storm wasn't as bad as they predicted the roads were pretty clear. John ended up driving me and dropping me off because at first we weren't sure how the road were. Tomorrow I have the pre-sale to go to, and I am excited to shop! Then I volunteer again on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and next Monday! I have a busy week as you can see!
Last week I had a doctors appointment just a normal prenatal check-up. My doctor said that I she's not going to schedule my gender scan until my next appointment! I am so anxious to find out, but its going to be another 5-6 weeks! We are planning on having a gender reveal party after we find out, so when we have the ultrasound we are going to have the tech write the sex down and we are going to take it to the bakery and have a cake made with the inside either pink or blue. So then when the cake is cut open at the party it will be a surprise to everyone! Well, I think its about dinner time, we are having meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and the meatloaf smells amazing! So I better go eat! I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!
